Patrick K. McGowan was born in Bangor, Maine, and raised in Somerset County. He learned to fly at the age of sixteen and began a lifetime of adventure and backcountry bush flying. Inspired by his home state, a place of magnificent beauty, he began a public service career, which included being a legislator, presidential appointee, and member of a governor’s cabinet. He has owned and operated many small businesses over four decades.
Pat is an accompanied conservationist and a savvy real estate agent in this area.
Pat is known for flying his clients to remote properties saving his clients many hours of driving and generating a unique perspective of these properties. The father of four, Pat lives in central Maine with his wife Kristen and daughter Amelia. His alma mater is the University of Maine at Farmington. He is currently the president of PK Floats, Inc., an aircraft manufacturing company in Maine. His drive for continued adventure included ten years as a skydiver, forty years as a floatplane and backcountry airplane pilot and multiple Maine canoe trips.

Merline has a 40-year career of sales experience, with 13 years dedicated specifically to real estate. Rachael Wilson worked as a real estate administrator for 6 years before obtaining her real estate license. MICHELLE & TAYLOR
Michelle and Taylor are a mother-daughter team that has lived and worked in Sidney Maine for the last 20 years. As a preschool teacher across the Messalonskee school district, Michelle has been able to connect and find a passion for helping people.
Michelle has been an executive real estate assistant for five years before earning her real estate license. She has assisted Lakehome Group for the last 3 years during the busy summer months, giving her a solid background knowledge to represent clients effectively.
Taylor is a true Maine girl. She is a graduate of Messalonskee High School and has earned her degree in education from the University of Maine.
Taylor and Michelle spend summers on Messalonskee Lake. Michelle enjoys kayaking while Taylor prefers the paddleboard. “We both enjoy just simply floating on a tube while soaking up the sun, then a refreshing swim afterward”. They love hiking and enjoying the beautiful scenery Belgrade Lakes Region has to offer from the trails.

Erin moved to Southern Maine when she was 9 years old and has felt like a Mainer ever since. After high school she attended The University of West Florida where she studied Interdisciplinary Humanities.
Maine kept calling to her, so after traveling for a few years she moved back to Maine. She lived and worked in Portland where she met her husband. They moved to the Belgrade Lakes Region in 2015.
Erin’s previous work experience includes customer service, sales, office management and most recently as a Benefits Specialist for Long Term Care insurance at Unum.
Professionally, Erin enjoys assisting clients, managing transactions, contract management and offering excellent customer service. Personally, her interest are in architecture, building, home staging, decorating and interior design. In 2019 Erin become a real estate professional and has been working hard for her clients ever since.
Erin and her family love to go boating, kayaking, and swimming in the lakes region, especially on Long Pond. She enjoys hiking and snowshoeing on the Kennebec Highlands trails and learning to grow vegetables and flowers with her children in their garden.

Bob has had the good fortune to live in Belgrade Lakes since 1992. Over the years, he has enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming, snorkeling and relaxing on Long Pond with his wife and two daughters. While he has traveled extensively, he found and fell in love with Belgrade Lakes and knew he wanted to live here. It has been a great place to raise his family.
Bob grew up in Ohio and has a degree in Early & Middle Childhood Education from Ohio State University. He has lived in Maine since 1981. He worked as a Licensed Social Worker for over 30 years
Along with relaxing and playing on the lake, Bob enjoys spending time with his family and friends, drawing with pen & ink, playing bass guitar, working in the yard and reading. Over the years he coached his daughters’ basketball and softball teams and bowled many frames. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Maine Association of Realtors and served on the Belgrade Board of Parks and Recreation.

Katherine was born in Del City, Oklahoma and traveled the country with her family as an Air Force Brat. Her parents settled in Maine when she was in 5th grade as they were both born and raised in Waterville.
She graduated from Messalonskee High School in 1986 and went on to college at the University of Massachusetts where she studied Animal Science and Cellular and Molecular Biology.
She worked as an Embryologist in both Boston and Providence, had sales roles in pharma and apparel. Loving real estate and the sales process, she got her Real Estate License in Massachusetts in 1997. She moved back to Maine in 2018 to be closer with her family and got her Maine Real Estate License in 2020.

Erica is a Maine native who grew up in the small town of New Sharon and graduated from Mt. Blue High School. Having worked at Bangor Savings Bank in Farmington for 5 years and Sparkes Hearing Services for 7 years, Erica brings many years of customer service experience to her career in real estate. She has worked as an administrative assistant in real estate assisting other agents with their listings and paperwork. This sparked her interest in becoming a sales agent herself.

Sandy Steele, a Winthrop native, grew up on Maranacook Lake. She is married to her high school sweetheart Jim and they have three grown children Zach, Spencer, and Ian.
Sandy graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 1994 with an Associate Degree in Business~Concentration in Real Estate. She and Jim married in 1995 and started their family.
While her kids were young and then in school, Sandy was fortunate to be able to be home with them. Sandy and her family love being up north enjoying their camp at North East Carry on Moosehead Lake.
Sandy also loves photography. She returned to Real estate in June of 2021, and in the fall of 2022, Sandy joined the team at Lakehome Group and looks forward to helping you with all your Real Estate needs.
Laura grew up in a family that appreciated the joy and value of owning and maintaining property. Her grandfather instilled the importance of investing in property at a young age. She bought her first home at the age of 24 when the interest rates were 18%. She was denied a bank mortgage because despite having a terrific job she didn’t have a husband to co-sign.
Undaunted, she borrowed the money from her aunt and the first of several house rehabs began. Laura moved to Maine in 1989 with her family and raised two children. After 10 years on Great Pond in Belgrade, an old set of sporting camps next door became available for purchase.
They bought and rehabilitated all 5 cottages for vacation rentals. As owner and operator of Belgrade Lakes Four Season Cottages, Laura helped promote her business by networking with others at the Belgrade Lakes Business Group, Kennebec Valley Tourism, and the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce.
She has always had a passion for the lakes, tourism, and the importance of preserving our lakes community. Laura’s love for the lakes region and her knowledge of building and rehabilitating properties makes her a natural choice to guide investment opportunities for buyers and sellers alike!
